- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Blanch fresh green beans for 3-4 minutes, then transfer them to an ice bath.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Reserve 1-2 tablespoons of bacon fat.
- Melt butter in the skillet with bacon fat. Sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
- Stir in brown sugar and soy sauce; mix until the glaze is smooth.
- In a baking dish, combine blanched green beans, glaze, and crispy bacon. Toss to coat.
