Method
 

Preparation

  3. Peel and dice apples, mix with lemon juice and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  4. Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour, and vanilla until smooth. Add egg and mix until incorporated.
  5. Layer cheesecake batter into muffin compartments and add apple filling on top. Sprinkle streusel over each.
  6. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 28-30 minutes until set. Cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Serve chilled, optionally drizzled with caramel sauce and garnished with whipped cream.
