Step-by-Step Instructions for BBQ Chicken Flatbread
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 packet of active dry yeast, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Gradually add 3/4 cup of warm water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  3. Let the kneaded dough rise in a greased bowl, covered, for about 30 minutes or until it doubles in size.
  4. Punch down the risen dough, divide into portions, and roll out to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Shred your cooked chicken and mix it with about 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce.
  6. Transfer flatbreads to the baking sheet, spread the BBQ chicken mixture, add red onion, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Garnish with chopped cilantro, slice, and serve immediately.
