Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Take your pizza dough and divide it into 14 equal pieces, rolling each into a 6-inch long strip.
  3. Place a slice of American cheese and a mini meatball at one end of each dough strip. Wrap and seal tightly.
  4. In a large pot, bring water to a gentle boil and stir in the baking soda. Drop each bomb into the boiling water for 20-30 seconds.
  5. Remove the bombs and let them drain. Whisk the egg and brush the tops of the bombs.
  6. Sprinkle coarse sea salt over the bombs before placing them on the baking sheet.
