  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese Shredded for melting; can substitute cheddar or a cheese blend.
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup Can substitute with cream of mushroom soup for variety.
  • 2 tsp garlic powder Adds aromatic flavor.
  • 2 tsp oregano Enhances the overall taste.
For the Crescent Rolls
  • 2 packages crescent rolls Each package contains 8 rolls; puff pastry can be used as a gluten-free alternative.
  • 10.5 oz milk Use the empty soup can for easy measurement.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ½ cup of mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, and oregano. Stir well and set aside.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Unroll the crescent rolls on a clean surface, separating the triangles.
  3. Place approximately ⅓ cup of the chicken filling at the wide end of each crescent triangle and roll tightly. Arrange in a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine the remaining mozzarella cheese, cream of chicken soup, and milk. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth.
  5. Pour the cheese sauce evenly over the crescent rolls in the baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes
