- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked white rice, shredded cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, sour cream, and shredded cheese. Add French fried onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or oil and pour the mixture into it evenly.
- Bake the casserole uncovered for about 30 minutes until the edges bubble.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining French fried onions on top. Bake for an additional 5 minutes until onions are golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

This casserole can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the fridge. It freezes well for up to three months.
