- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and packed brown sugar until smooth.
- Add in the egg, honey, and vanilla extract, whisking until the mixture is velvety and lump-free.
- Gently stir in the flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle on top.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan for about 20-30 minutes before lifting out and cutting into squares.
