- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter and light brown sugar until well blended. Add the egg, honey, and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
- Gently add the flour, salt, and half of the ground cinnamon to the wet mixture. Stir together until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar with the remaining half teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle it over the batter.
