Preparation Steps

  3. Carefully pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese generously over the top of the casserole.
  5. Place the baking dish in your preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle crushed pork rinds or crispy fried onions on top during the last 10 minutes of baking, if desired.
  7. Once baked, remove the casserole from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes.
