Preparation Steps
- Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Set up a three-bowl breading station with flour, whisked eggs, and combined panko breadcrumbs with seasonings.
- Dredge each fillet in flour, dip in eggs, and press into the panko mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Lightly brush the air fryer basket with olive oil and arrange coated fillets in the basket.
- Air fry the cod at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Carefully remove the cod and serve with lemon wedges.
