Step-by-Step Instructions
- Drain the firm tofu and wrap it in a clean kitchen towel. Press with a heavy object for 15-20 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine 4 tablespoons of honey, 4 cloves of minced garlic, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons of sesame oil. Stir until fully blended.
- Spread ½ cup of cornstarch onto a large plate. Coat each tofu cube in cornstarch, ensuring an even layer on all sides. Shake off excess cornstarch.
- Heat about 1 cup of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the coated tofu cubes in batches for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Lower the heat and pour in the honey garlic sauce. Let it simmer for about one minute, then add the fried tofu and toss to coat evenly.
- Transfer the glazed tofu to a serving platter and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes
Press tofu properly to avoid sogginess; maintain oil temperature for best frying results. Reheat leftovers in skillet for optimal texture.
