  • 1 cup Almond Flour Can use almond meal as a substitute.
  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise Greek yogurt serves as a lighter alternative.
  • 1 large Egg Essential for binding.
  • 1 teaspoon Table Salt Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Thyme Can substitute with dried oregano or basil.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For frying.
For the Spicy Dill-Garlic Dip
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt can be used for a lighter version.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill Dried dill works if fresh is unavailable.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced or can use garlic powder.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cayenne Omit for a milder flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream, chopped fresh dill, minced garlic, and ground cayenne. Stir until smooth and well-combined, then refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Open and drain the canned salmon, rinsing it under cold water. Remove skin and bones, pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the salmon with almond flour, mayonnaise, egg, salt, thyme, and black pepper. Form into 5 equal-sized patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve the salmon patties with a dollop of spicy dill-garlic dip on top or on the side.

Notes
