Step-by-Step Instructions for CrockPot Chicken Tortellini
  1. Spray the inside of your slow cooker with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Place uniform chicken breasts in a single layer in the prepped slow cooker.
  3. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken, add spices, and then the chicken broth.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for about 4 hours.
  5. Carefully remove then shred the chicken and return it to the slow cooker.
  6. Stir in the cheese tortellini, mozzarella cheese, and heavy cream into the cooker.
  7. With the lid on, cook on LOW for an additional 30 minutes.
  8. Add baby spinach and stir gently until wilted.
  9. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning before serving.
