  • 1 tablespoon Honey or orange juice + stevia
  • 1 teaspoon Grated Ginger fresh is best
  • 1 clove Minced Garlic fresh preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes adjust for spice level
  • 2 tablespoons Tahini or almond/cashew butter
For the Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Toasted Sesame Seeds or hemp hearts for keto
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Peanuts optional for keto

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by slicing the napa cabbage into thin ribbons, sprinkling lightly with salt, and letting it rest for 5 minutes.
  2. While the cabbage is resting, julienne the carrot and slice the bell pepper into thin strips.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  4. After 5 minutes, drain the napa cabbage and combine it with the julienned carrots and sliced bell peppers in a large mixing bowl.
  5. Pour the prepared sesame dressing over the vegetables, tossing gently to coat and allowing to marinate for 5 minutes.
  6. Finally, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and chopped peanuts on top before serving.
