Ingredients
  

For the Truffle Mixture
  • 1 package Oreo Cookies
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp Irish Cream Liqueur optional; use vanilla extract for non-alcoholic
For the Coating
  • 2 cups Green Candy Melts or white chocolate colored with green food dye
  • 1 cup Assorted Sprinkles for decoration

Method
 

Directions
  1. Crush the Oreo Cookies until finely crushed, resembling sand.
  2. Combine the crushed Oreo cookies with softened cream cheese and Irish cream liqueur, or substitute with vanilla extract, mixing until cohesive.
  3. Chill the mixture for about 30 minutes, covered, to help firm it up.
  4. Shape the mixture into compact spheres and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  6. Individually dip each truffle into the melted candy coating, then place back on parchment.
  7. Add sprinkles on top of each truffle while the coating is still wet.
  8. Set the coated truffles at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
