  • ¼ cup Fresh Basil Leaves tear by hand for enhanced oil release
For the Dressing
  • ¼ cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil avocado oil can be used
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Glaze balsamic vinegar can be substituted
For Seasoning
  • Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper adjust to taste

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta with halved grape or cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella balls, and torn basil leaves. Gently toss to mix.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the combined ingredients in the bowl and toss gently to coat.
  4. Sprinkle salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste and toss again. Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary.
  5. Transfer the toss salad to a serving dish, arranging ingredients for visual appeal.
  6. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the salad in a zigzag pattern before serving.
