Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the avocado in a bowl, adding lemon juice and salt.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Layer the chicken on the unspread side of one bread slice, seasoning if desired.
  5. Spread the avocado mixture over the chicken and top with cheese.
  6. Place the second slice of bread on top, mayo side facing up.
  7. Bake the sandwich for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts and the bread is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool briefly, then slice and serve warm.
