Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Melt the Vegan Butter: In a large pot, melt the vegan butter over low heat, stirring gently. This takes about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the Vegan Marshmallows: Stir in vegan mini marshmallows and mix until melted and smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Incorporate Flavoring and Color: Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, and add green gel food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  4. Fold in the Cereal: Gently fold in puffed rice cereal, ensuring all pieces are coated. Be careful not to crush the cereal.
  5. Shape the Treats: Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, pressing firmly to shape into a flat layer about 1 inch thick.
  6. Cut and Decorate: Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes, then cut into tree shapes and decorate as desired.
