Step-by-Step Instructions for HAM & CHEESE PUFF PASTRY CHRISTMAS TREES
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out one sheet of thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Layer with six slices of cheese, followed by six slices of ham, and then add the second sheet of pastry on top.
- Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the layered pastry into 1-inch wide strips.
- Take one pastry strip and fold it back and forth onto a wooden skewer, looping the pastry to create a tree shape. Repeat this process with the remaining strips.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley to create a savory glaze. Brush this mixture over the tops of your assembled trees.
- Place your baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes until puffy and golden brown.
- Let the trees cool slightly on a wire rack before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.
