Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place bacon on it. Bake for 12-15 minutes until crispy. Crumble bacon and reserve grease.
  3. Wash and cut potatoes into ¼-inch strips.
  4. Rinse potato strips under cold water and soak in cold water for about 15 minutes.
  5. Boil a large pot of salted water, add potato strips and cook for 4-5 minutes. Drain and dry thoroughly.
  6. Toss dried potato strips with avocado oil in a large bowl. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon over the fries and broil for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Drizzle with ranch dressing and garnish with chopped parsley or green onions. Serve immediately.
