  • 2 tablespoons Water
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil Olive oil can substitute
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey or brown sugar, rice vinegar, water, ginger, and garlic until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, seasoned with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken, stirring gently to coat. Cook for 2 minutes to allow the sauce to warm and infuse the flavors.
  4. Lower the heat and mix cornstarch with water until smooth. Add this to the skillet and stir continuously for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
