  6. Chill both halves in plastic wrap for 30 minutes.
  7. Roll out each dough half into a rectangle; stack colored dough over plain dough.
  8. Roll tightly into a log; chill again for 2 hours.
  9. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice log into 1/4-inch rounds and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  10. Cool on a baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
