Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 1¾ cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, ½ teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
- In a large bowl, whisk together ½ cup of melted unsalted butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar until smooth. Add 2 large eggs one at a time, followed by 1 cup of buttermilk and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredient mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
- Fold in ½ cup of red and green sprinkles carefully to avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top. If desired, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of coarse sugar and a few extra sprinkles on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45–55 minutes, checking for doneness around the 40-minute mark.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
Gently combine wet and dry ingredients to prevent tough bread. Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing. The bread can be customized with various add-ins like chocolate chips or nuts.
