- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Let it cool.
- In a blender, add 1 ½ cups of thawed berries and 1 cup of water. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until silky puree forms.
- In a large pitcher, combine the cooled simple syrup, berry puree, 1 cup of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of lemon peel. Add remaining 2 cups cold water.
- Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Fill glasses with ice, pour the lemonade over, stir gently and enjoy!
