  • 1 cup Gruyère or Sharp Cheddar Cheese Can substitute with mozzarella.
For Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Chives can also be used.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Roll out two sheets of thawed puff pastry into rectangles measuring about 10"x12".
  2. Spread 1.5 tablespoons of Dijon mustard evenly on each sheet, leaving a ½-inch border around the edges.
  3. Layer six slices of deli ham on each sheet, then sprinkle about 1 cup of grated cheese over the ham.
  4. Roll the pastry tightly from one long edge and trim the ends. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 20 minutes.
  5. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Ensure the oven is still preheated to 375°F.
  6. Slice the chilled logs into ½-inch thick pinwheels and place them cut-side up on the baking sheets.
  7. Bake for about 18 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  8. Remove from the oven, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve warm.
