Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and active dry yeast. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix in granulated sugar, melted unsalted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Gradually add all-purpose flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Dough Kneading
  1. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  2. Shape the dough into a ball and place it into a greased bowl. Cover with a kitchen towel.
First Rise
  1. Allow the covered dough to rise in a warm, draft-free area for about 1 hour.
Filling Preparation
  1. In a bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, mix diced strawberries with cornstarch and strawberry jam.
Roll Assembly
  1. Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Spread cream cheese mixture over the dough, followed by the strawberry filling.
  3. Roll the dough tightly from one long edge and cut into 12 equal pieces.
Second Rise
  1. Arrange cut rolls in a greased baking pan and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Glazing and Serving
  1. Allow rolls to cool slightly for 10 minutes. Whisk powdered sugar and milk for the glaze.
  2. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and top with additional strawberry slices.
