- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 loaf pan with melted unsalted Irish butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Whisk until well mixed.
- Add shredded Irish cheddar cheese to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until evenly distributed.
- Make a well in the center, pour in Irish beer, and fold the mixture gently until just moistened.
- Spoon batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Drizzle remaining melted butter over the top of the batter, then bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes.
- While baking, melt additional butter, mix in parsley, garlic powder, and salt.
- Brush garlic butter over the warm bread as soon as it comes out of the oven.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
