Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 loaf pan with melted unsalted Irish butter.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Whisk until well mixed.
  3. Add shredded Irish cheddar cheese to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until evenly distributed.
  4. Make a well in the center, pour in Irish beer, and fold the mixture gently until just moistened.
  5. Spoon batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Drizzle remaining melted butter over the top of the batter, then bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes.
  7. While baking, melt additional butter, mix in parsley, garlic powder, and salt.
  8. Brush garlic butter over the warm bread as soon as it comes out of the oven.
  9. Cool the bread in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
