- Thaw the frozen octopus overnight in the fridge. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and simmer the octopus for about 30 minutes, or until tender.
- While the octopus cools, preheat your grill to high heat, around 450°F (232°C).
- In a bowl, drizzle olive oil over the cooled octopus, then sprinkle smoked paprika generously and massage into the octopus.
- Place the marinated octopus onto hot grill grates and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
