Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Thaw the frozen octopus overnight in the fridge. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and simmer the octopus for about 30 minutes, or until tender.
  2. While the octopus cools, preheat your grill to high heat, around 450°F (232°C).
  3. In a bowl, drizzle olive oil over the cooled octopus, then sprinkle smoked paprika generously and massage into the octopus.
  4. Place the marinated octopus onto hot grill grates and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Remove the octopus from the grill, cut into smaller pieces, and serve immediately with fresh lemon or lime wedges.
  6. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the grilled octopus before serving for added freshness.
