Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 10-cup bundt pan thoroughly.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine one cup of Guinness Stout and a stick of unsalted butter. Heat over medium until melted.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 cups of granulated sugar, ¾ cup cocoa powder, 1.5 teaspoons baking powder, 1.5 teaspoons baking soda, and 1 teaspoon salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat together 2 large eggs, 1 cup sour cream, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually pour the cooled butter-Guinness mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, smoothing the top, and bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
