Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Add melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until a cohesive dough forms.
  4. Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake the crust for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix pecans, maple syrup, heavy cream, and a pinch of salt.
  7. Pour the pecan mixture over the cooled crust and spread evenly.
  8. Bake again for 15-20 minutes until the topping is set and bubbly.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
