Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin pan with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla extract, milk, and mashed bananas, stirring until smooth.
  4. Sift in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, folding gently until just combined.
  5. Fill each muffin cup about 3/4 full with batter.
  6. Add a dollop of Nutella to the top of each muffin cup and swirl gently with a toothpick.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 15-17 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool muffins in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
