  • 2 cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 cup Flour all-purpose
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt fine table salt
  • 1.5 cups Chocolate Chips

  • 1 cup Chopped Nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 1 cup Dried Fruits cranberries or raisins

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and peanut butter until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the brown sugar and mix until smooth, around 1-2 minutes.
  4. Mix in the egg and water until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Using a cookie scoop, portion the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between each scoop.
  8. Gently flatten each cookie dough ball with a fork.
  9. Top each cookie with a few reserved chocolate chips.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
