Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and peanut butter until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the brown sugar and mix until smooth, around 1-2 minutes.
- Mix in the egg and water until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Using a cookie scoop, portion the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between each scoop.
- Gently flatten each cookie dough ball with a fork.
- Top each cookie with a few reserved chocolate chips.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
