Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Tofu: Cut tofu into bite-sized cubes and pat dry with paper towels to remove moisture.
  2. Make the Wet Batter: Mix cornstarch, all-purpose flour, salt, pepper, and chicken stock powder. Gradually add water while stirring until smooth.
  3. Coat the Tofu: Dip tofu pieces in the wet batter, then coat with tapioca flour.
  4. Fry the Tofu: Heat oil and fry tofu for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Sauté Garlic and Peppers: Heat oil, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add sliced chili peppers.
  6. Combine Tofu and Spices: Toss fried tofu in the pan with sautéed garlic and chili peppers.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Transfer to serving platter, garnish with green onions, and serve warm.
