  • 0.25 cups butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 pound large raw shrimp peeled and deveined
Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, Cajun seasoning, brown sugar, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss gently. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Thread 4-5 marinated shrimp onto each skewer.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (200°C).
  5. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp are pink and charred.
  6. Brush the shrimp with remaining marinade during the last minutes of grilling.
  7. Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
