Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut chicken breasts into ½-inch pieces and toss with olive oil and poultry seasoning. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt unsalted butter and mix with minced garlic, parsley, and crushed red pepper flakes. Slice the Italian loaf lengthwise, spread garlic butter mixture on cut surfaces, and toast for 5-10 minutes until golden.
  3. Melt remaining unsalted butter in the skillet, add more minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and gradually mix in Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Spread half of the Alfredo sauce over the toasted bread, top with chicken, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil for 1 minute for a crispy finish if desired.
