- Combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, green onions, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and separate into individual triangles.
- At the wide end of each triangle, place a tablespoon of the chicken mixture and spread it nearly to the edges.
- Starting from the wide end, roll the dough to form a pillow shape, sealing the edges firmly.
- Dip each pillow in melted butter and then roll in breadcrumbs to coat.
- Place the pillows on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour to create a roux.
- Gradually add chicken broth and milk, whisking continuously until thickened.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and additional salt and pepper to taste until melted and smooth.
