Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. Combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, green onions, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Unroll the crescent rolls and separate into individual triangles.
  4. At the wide end of each triangle, place a tablespoon of the chicken mixture and spread it nearly to the edges.
  5. Starting from the wide end, roll the dough to form a pillow shape, sealing the edges firmly.
  6. Dip each pillow in melted butter and then roll in breadcrumbs to coat.
  7. Place the pillows on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While baking, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour to create a roux.
  9. Gradually add chicken broth and milk, whisking continuously until thickened.
  10. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and additional salt and pepper to taste until melted and smooth.
  11. Remove pillows from the oven, serve warm, drizzled with sauce.
