Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by patting the chicken dry and seasoning both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes, then add chicken broth and lemon juice.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. In a separate saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic, then add rice and toast for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil, and then cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Once rice is done, mix in parmesan cheese and parsley until combined.
  8. Serve the rice topped with chicken and spoon over the sauce, garnishing with parsley and red pepper flakes.
