  • 1 can Tomato Soup Homemade tomato sauce can be used.
  • 1/2 cup Water Broth can be used for enriched flavor.
  • 2 cups Swiss Cheese (shredded) Substitute with mozzarella or vegan cheese.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Additional Cheese Provolone or cheddar can be added.

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, onion, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper for 8-10 minutes until beef is browned and onions are translucent.
  3. Spread drained sauerkraut in the baking dish, sprinkle brown sugar over it, and layer cooked egg noodles on top.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together tomato soup and water until smooth, then pour over the layered ingredients.
  5. Sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese evenly over the casserole.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-45 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
