Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, granulated sugar, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake bacon on a lined baking sheet for 15-17 minutes until crispy. Chop bacon into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Rinse and trim broccoli florets, finely chop, and prepare red onion, placing them in a large mixing bowl.
  4. In the large bowl, add chopped bacon, cranberries, and almonds. Toss gently to mix.
  5. Drizzle dressing over the salad and toss carefully to coat all ingredients.
  6. Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. Toss the salad gently again before serving.
