Cooking Instructions
- Whisk together all-purpose flour, cake flour, eggs, dashi, and soy sauce until smooth.
- Brush takoyaki grill pan with toasted sesame oil and heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Fill each mold with prepared batter about three-quarters full.
- Add 2-3 pieces of cooked octopus and scallions into each mold.
- Cook undisturbed for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip each Takoyaki ball over to cook the other side for 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer to a plate and drizzle with takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise; sprinkle with aonori and bonito flakes.
