- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, panko breadcrumbs (or almond flour), green onions, cilantro, egg, garlic, ginger, sea salt, and lime zest. Mix thoroughly and roll into balls.
- Place meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are evenly spaced. Bake in the oven for 20-22 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the meatballs bake, prepare the sauce by whisking together honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the sauce reaches a gentle boil, mix cornstarch with water and add to the sauce. Whisk continuously until thickened.
- Remove meatballs from the oven and drizzle the sauce over them, then return to the oven for another 2-5 minutes.
- Let meatballs cool slightly before serving. Pair with jasmine rice and garnish with green onions and cilantro.
