Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in boiling salted water until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and cool.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, then add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  5. Pour wine or broth into the skillet, deglazing and simmering for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and zest with heavy cream; let simmer until thickened.
  7. Toss cooked pasta with the creamy sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  8. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish, topping with shrimp.
  9. Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheese over the pasta and shrimp.
  10. Bake for 15–20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Garnish with parsley and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
