Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Sear the Chuck Roast in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side until browned.
  2. Place halved Yukon Gold potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Lay the seared beef on top of the potatoes, then mix melted butter with minced garlic and pour over the beef and potatoes with broth.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours until beef is tender.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and drizzle more garlic butter sauce before serving.
