Cooking Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, soy sauce, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the meatballs for about 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and add honey, soy sauce, remaining minced garlic, and rice vinegar. Whisk until combined and simmer for about 2 minutes.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet. Stir together cornstarch and water to create a slurry, then add this to the pan. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
