Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and gather your ingredients.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all marinade ingredients and whisk until smooth.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag, pour half the marinade over, coat well, seal, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  4. 30 minutes before baking, let the chicken sit at room temperature. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Arrange chicken thighs evenly on the baking sheet with space between each piece.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is golden brown.
  7. Simmer the reserved marinade in a saucepan until thickened, then brush over the baked chicken.
  8. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to caramelize the glaze, watching closely to prevent burning.
  9. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serve with steamed jasmine rice and vegetables.
