Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of water, and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add 3 minced garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh rosemary, and 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper to the marinade. Whisk until fully combined.
- Reserve half of the marinade in a separate bowl for basting later. Submerge the pork chops in the remaining marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat, aiming for a temperature between 375°F to 400°F. Oil the grates lightly.
- Remove the pork chops from the marinade and place on the hot grill without moving for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Gently flip the pork chops using tongs and grill the other side for an additional 4 to 5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Baste the pork chops with the reserved marinade during the last 2 to 3 minutes of cooking.
- Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
