  • 1 pound Chicken Breasts Diced for marination.
  • 0.25 cups Soy Sauce Main marinade.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
For Assembly
  • 1 whole Avocado Slice just before layering.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds For garnish.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Cilantro For garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook with water in a rice cooker or pot for 20 minutes or until tender.
  2. Once rice is cooked, let it steam covered for 10 minutes. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt, then fold into the rice.
  3. Dice chicken breasts and marinate with soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Cook marinated chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  5. Slice avocado in half and scoop out the flesh, cut into thin slices or cubes.
  6. Layer the sushi rice, avocado, and cooked chicken using a mold, pressing gently to maintain the layers.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro before serving.
