- Spread about 1 tablespoon of butter evenly on one side of each slice of Italian bread. Set aside and heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Place one slice of buttered bread, butter side down, onto skillet. Layer with mozzarella, provolone, deli ham, and salami.
- Spread mayonnaise on the remaining slice of bread, then Dijon mustard on the other side.
- Place the remaining bread slice on top with the mayonnaise side down and press gently with a spatula.
- Fry in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy, keeping an eye on it to avoid burning.
- Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until deep golden-brown.
- Remove from skillet and sprinkle with dried oregano and garlic powder.
- Let sit momentarily before slicing diagonally and serve warm.
