- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or oil.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add spinach and sauté for 3-4 minutes until wilted.
- Spread ¾ cup of marinara sauce evenly in the bottom of the greased baking dish.
- Layer half of the ravioli on top of the marinara sauce in a single layer.
- Sprinkle half of the sautéed spinach over the ravioli and add a layer of parmesan cheese.
- Repeat the layering with the remaining ravioli, marinara sauce, and parmesan cheese, adding cracked pepper.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes if using fresh ravioli, or 30 minutes for frozen.
- Remove the foil and return to the oven for an additional 2 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Allow the bake to cool for a few minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
