Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, about 4-5 minutes. Cool to room temperature.
  2. In a blender, combine 1.5 cups of berries and 1 cup of water. Blend on high until smooth, about 30 seconds. Strain if a smoother texture is preferred.
  3. In a large pitcher, mix the cooled simple syrup, berry puree, 1 cup of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of lemon peel. Add 2 more cups of water and stir well.
  4. Cover and chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
